Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of compensation and job stress on organizational commitment by job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The type of this study is literature review. The result of this study showed that compensation has a positive effect and significant effect on job satisfaction, job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction,compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job stress has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment.
