Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explore the mediating role of Employee Engagement on the relationship between Organizational Citizenship behaviour and Training with Employee Performance in the Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC). Moreover, the researcher has followed the quantitative research method in this research for randomly selected sample of 416 respondents from Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) employees. The data analysis was carried out using Smart PLS. The findings revealed a significant relationship between Organizational Citizenship behaviour, Training, and Employee Engagement from hand, and Employee Performance from another hand. In addition, the mediation role of Employee engagement was found to partially mediating the relationship between Organizational Citizenship behaviour and Employee Performance, while no mediation effect was found on the relationship between Training and Employee Performance. The Scarcity of the studies of the role of employee engagement in Yemen was the major gap this study is designed to bridge, there are no noted publication that target this important relationship.
